Who am I ?
My name is Griselle Paz. I’m a professional who has reinvented herself at least twice. Going from writer/producer in broadcasting to corporate executive recruiter in the tech world. I have worked as a global diversity program manager opening doors of opportunity for all. I am a mother, a daughter, a friend. I’m a dreamer, a dancer, and a polyglot (fancy term for I speak several languages). I’m an avid learner and personal development junkie. I have overcome many obstacles both personally and professionally. I fully understand what is means to perservere despite adversity. I’m Puerto Rican and proud of it despite the clichés out there that make us all out to be loud party animals and many other unflaterring things.
Most of all I am a believer in the power of transformation. I believe we all have a purpose and that we are more powerful than we think we are. We are strong, fierce, bold, and resilient.
My passion is to lead people to be their most creative and powerful selves.
What have I done in my life?
I have succesfully raised two kids on my own. I am a good daughter to my mom and dad taking care of their needs as they get older. I am working on my family tree which is a monumental task considering I have 20 aunts and uncles and over 300 cousins. For real, I’m not kidding. I have a Master’s in Broadcasting from Brooklyn College (aka the poor man’s Harvard). A degree in Latin American Affairs from Rutgers University. At one point I thought I would be a diplomat. I also thought I would be a nun so neither of those worked out. I am a blood donor, bone marrow donor and an organ donor. I’m a philanthropist helping out organizations I care about like St. Judes Children’s Hospital, Feed the Children, Selah Freedom and Joyce Meyer Ministries among others.
Where have I worked?
As a Writer and Producer I worked with major media outlets, such as ABC, Univision and CNN. I was Nominated for Emmy on a human-interest story raising awareness around bone marrow donation for patients battling Leukemia.
A Talent Acquisition professional, who helped Fortune 100 companies find top, in-demand talent. Consistently received accolades for work placements by corporate executives. Designed diversity programs benefitting veterans and neurodiverse individuals. Diversity Program Manager who brought and opened greater opportunities for BIPOC talent and increasing the bottom line for corporations.
How have I lived?
I work hard every day to be a good human being who strives to make a difference in the world.
